You Can Make a Difference

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the Emmy award-winning hit show on ABC Television, is coming to the Upper Valley to surprise one lucky family with a life-changing, extreme home makeover. Trumbull-Nelson Construction will recruit and lead a team of volunteers to build a complete new house in less than one week. While Trumbull-Nelson Construction has built hundreds of homes, they have never built one in which all of the construction materials, labor, and furnishings need to be donated.

I don't think we could have imagined the outpouring of support we've received from the community. In less than a week we over 1000 people contacted us to offer their assistance. At this point in time we do not need any more support volunteers -- but still need more experienced carpenters and other professionals. While we do not need any more support volunteer sign-ups now, we do anticipate that there will be some very specific needs for people at specific times, as well as needs from the design team for help. Even though we may not need many more volunteers we still hope everyone will take part in this build and make this dream happen. Please plan to come check it out and cheer the team on from Oct. 1 to 4, or come watch us "MOVE THAT BUS" on October 5.
